Lowe's acquired ATG Stores in December 2011 with the intention of expanding its e-commerce business in Canada. As the lead designer, I worked with project managers in Canada and a development team in Kirkland to redesign the entire website.
I redesigned Lowes.ca based on the Atgstores.com template for easy maintenance across sites.
When designing the store locator, I took into consideration of the fact that it needed to be responsive. My wireframes and specs included both web and mobile previews.
Part of the redesign implementation included converting the site to responsive design. We continued to improve user experience on Lowe’s Canada’s E-commerce website based on usability testing results.
